Double standards in the Arrow fandom, based on shipping preference

Laurel: *works in the Glades and actually has no idea what is about to happen with it, goes in to work to be with her colleagues and collect her work, and an actual huge piece of the building falls on her and Tommy dies saving her*
Arrow fandom: Laurel is so stupid, she had it coming. She's also the reason why Tommy died, who we all hated up to this point, but now we have feeeeeeels.
Felicity: *knows exactly what's about to happen, but stays there just because, for no actual reason, only because Oliver is staying (HE DOESN'T, HE GOES TO THE CITY TO FIGHT MALCOLM, WTF WRITERS) and then sobs when pieces building starts to fall around her, but nothing falls on her, out of damn luck*
